Alexander Botian is a Managing Director of Borovtsov & Salei, Partner, Head of Banking & Finance.

After having graduated from the Faculty of Law of Belarusian State University summa cum laude in 1991, Alexander worked in the Legal Department of the Government of the Republic of Belarus and participated in drafting the first Belarusian Civil Code. International experience includes working at Chadbourne & Parke (New York, USA) as International Lawyer, as well as advising on numerous large investment projects related to international investments. Alexander is also a recommended arbitrator at the International Arbitration Court at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and the International Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Chambers Guide 2017 admits that Alexander is "one of the most established names in the market with an enviable track record of foreign investment deals behind his belt." Alexander is recognized by The Chambers Guide 2017 as Band 1 practicioner in Belarus. Legal 500 names Alexander as a "professional and experienced advisor."
