Аdvocate Yulia Shuba and trainee Ekaterina Zhuk prepared an article “Whiskey “Grant’s” vs brandy “Komandirsky”. Is there unfair competition?”, published in the February issue of The Jurist magazine. The article examines the criteria for determination of the degree of goods’ confusion (criteria of comparability), developed by doctrine, judicial practice and applied by the Ministry of Antimonopoly, Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus while resolving the dispute between WG&S and “Vinokurnia Naroch” LLC on violation of antitrust laws at the end of 2019.
